The Lonely Biscuits is one name every household should have on their dinner table. This four member band hailing from Nashville, Tennessee…Belmont University to be exact…has been around since 2011 but they have recently gotten the major attention they deserve. With winning a MTVu award for “College Artist of The Year” to performing at SXSW, Hangout, and on tour-you need to quickly join the Biscuit Bandwagon. Grady Wenrich, Sam Gidley, John Paterini, and Nick Byrd compose the band and they blend soul, funk, pop, and hip-hop perfectly. This won’t be the first time they are in Charlotte but I know that this show will be better than the first.
Catch The Lonely Biscuits, Monday June 30th, at The Visulite Theatre (1615 Elizabeth Ave, 28204). Show starts at 8, doors open at 7. You can purchase advanced tickets for $10 here or pay $10 at the door. Visit their website here.
