It always takes me by surprise when I only know a producer for just that and they come out of the woodwork and can actually rap or sing. Yung Citizen is an individual of that nature as he showcases his talents on his recent Soul Searchin’ EP. This is his third project and the title fits exactly what he wanted to gain from the completion as he “finds himself as an artist and producer.” He plays on the “Soul Searchin'” of the project with the way each beat has an underlying soul effect. My favorite track is “Power People” as he uplifts all people encouraging to “fight for your freedom.” Check out the EP below.
