Kuntry rapper, Matrix P and Atlanta artist, Phay of Stndrd have teamed up for an ironic track entitled, “Modest”. I call it ironic because the title makes you believe Matrix and Phay will be rapping about staying down to Earth in the industry…not at all. Instead they turn the chorus into a positive affirmation of confidence that some might confuse as cockiness by saying, “I think I’m the shit now”. Give the new track a listen and wait on a new EP from Matrix coming out entitled, The Kuntry Club.
